The British Committee does not employ anyone however Quaker House in Brussels normally employ three Programme Assistants (PAs). These are typically at an 'end of study' stage in their career, and stay for a year, are enthusiastic about working in a European organization. Each PA usually takes responsibility for an area assisting on a project or doing their own research for a report. Many of the QCEA publications have been produced by our programme assistants. They live within the Quaker House Community.

Usually two PAs start in September and one in January. Please contact Quaker House. Even if they are not recruiting just now they keep a list of interested people.

It must be appreciated that the PAs are working for and within a Quaker organisation and so must be in membership or very well acquainted with The Religious Society of Friends (Quakers), and must be eligible to work within the EU.
