| Talking Friends, is a registered charity run by Quakers, to provide visually impaired Friends and Attenders in Britain Yearly Meeting with access to Quaker periodicals and books at low cost.
Recordings for the visually impaired are made by small teams of Quaker volunteers in their homes around the country. The Friend is recorded in and around Warwickshire and Birmingham, and the other periodicals by other teams. It you live in the midlands and would like to become one of our reading team please contact the secretary secretary@talkingfriends.org.uk Duplicating and distribution of The Friend and Quaker News is at present carried out by staff of Quaker Life at Friends House in London.
